Southeast Calgary’s Wayman Liquidation Centre has been abuzz with activity recently as we prepare for one of our biggest online auction events ever.
We are pleased to offer an unreserved timed online flood insurance claim auction conducted by GD Auctions for just about everything associated with pedal power and cruising on two wheels.
GD Auctions are an expert team of professional auctioneers and appraisers that specialize in unreserved internet auctions, which means that items will be sold to the highest bidder unless expressly noted. The fact that everything is online helps simplify the process.
Wayman’s unprecedented bike sale and parts auction has already begun and continues to 9 a.m. on May 30, however could be subject to a soft closing and/or bidding extensions.
It’s important to note that these assets are being sold from a flood insurance claim and therefore may have minor damage and/or may be incomplete other than what has been already noted in its listing. Buyers are strongly recommended to view and inspect items prior to bidding. All items will be sold “as is” with no guarantees implied. Simply put, all sales will be final.

You can feel free to make a starting bid before you drop by to browse on Tuesday, May 28, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Please note that a buyer’s premium of 15% will be added to all final sales prices, as well as the requisite 5% GST. You just need to register and sign in to take part.

You could probably build a custom bike from scratch from everything available at Wayman’s massive bike and parts auction, or you can just purchase a quality cycle that is ready to ride.
Parts and accessories
It never hurts to have extra tires on hand, especially because of the rough shape of some of Calgary’s pathways. Wayman’s bike auction has a number of tires available in various standard sizes. Find brand-name wire bead tires, sport reflect tires, Har Catapult tires and even tires for a RevoScoot Max scooter. Rims and innertubes are also available, and, of course, pumps and repair kits.
For days when you can’t ride but want to keep up your training, there are also Elite QUBO Power Mag Smart B+ Trainers on offer.

Electric scooters are a great way to get around in the summer, and Wayman has several from RevoScoot, one of the best names in the scooter biz. These scooters do not come with chargers, but those are easily purchased online from the company.

This auction is mainly about bikes, but not entirely. Also on offer are four-piece outdoor patio sets, a gorgeous marble table perfect for an office environment, scuba gear, dive watches, a telescope set, and even a Johnny Gaudreau framed piece of sports memorabilia.
